Our firm has a great deal of experience and expertise in healthy and green architecture ― we believe more than any other firm in Trinidad and Tobago.  An in-depth knowledge of healthy building issues is key in creating a healthy and productive office environment that will increase the well-being, happiness and productivity of your most important and biggest asset ― your staff.

Below is a summary of the qualifications and experience in green building of David Fojo, principal.

  • Masters of Environmental Design from Yale University.
  • Member of the “Green Team” for Walt Disney World Architecture and Engineering.  Developed proposals for Disney Vice-Presidents on how Disney could be more environmentally friendly in its building practices.   Recommended buildings for rating by Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) a national standard for high performance sustainable buildings.   • Member of the “Green Team” for HOK, the largest architectural firm in the US.  Assisted in the development of green design practices, green construction specifications and LEED conformance.
  • Participated in the design and development of radically green prototype communities such as Abundance Eco-Village (http://www.abundance-ecovillage.com/) and Yalaha Eco-village (http://www.yalahafoundation.com/).
  • Building Biologist and Environmental Inspector.  Have professionally inspected dozens of buildings for healthy building issues such as air quality, light quality, electro-magnetic fields etc...
  • Currently in the early stages of designing / developing eco-villages, eco-resorts and natural healing clinics in Trinidad.
  • Founder of a non-profit corporation called The Virtually Heaven Foundation dedicated to improving the quality of the built and the natural environment.
  • Member of TTIA for 26 years.  Professional practice with a strong interest in green architecture for about 20 years.  Experience with smart building technology, solar energy, wind energy, healthy building, metaphysical/spiritual aspects of architecture,green architecture and environmental issues across the spectrum of the design and construction process.
